To cut a long story short this just about sums up the jist of it:

The future of grass roots Rugby in Ireland will always be in the hands of volunteers, aided no doubt by professionals employed by the IRFU, but I doubt that the current professional players will feel an obligation to repay, gratis, the schools and clubs that set them on the road.
