I don’t understand why Lowry is at fullback with McIlroy on the wing - wrong way round surely.

Wrong only in that Moore should be starting at 15

Yes, would go with that but is he fit? Looked a bit overweight last time he played.

I hope Matty's missus has told him that she fancies a holiday in Malibu this summer, as he'll need a huge performance to save our blushes/get another contract.
Doak at 10 . . . Jury will be out. Certainly unconvincing in his cameos to date. This will be a huge test for him.
Baloucoune needs an absolute rocket up his Brennan. He's been poor for a while.
McIlroy meh. Lowry meh. The backline in general, meh.
Good to see Herring back, will hopefully add a bit of much needed steel to that pack.
A BP in some shape or form will be a huge ask. Lets hope the Saffers get someone sent off early on.

Like the 'ulster fans' who demanded PJ and SO be sacked. Certainly got UB and the IRFU to listen then.justinr73 wrote: Gav Casey said if he was an Ulster fan he’d take to the streets….

Ladies and gents, welcome to the Nathan Doak at 10 era ...
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Let’s wait and see before we make judgement. Billy Butns has set a low bar, standing still passing 5metres to the nearest man isn’t too difficult. Doesn’t tactically kick because he has not length on his kicks and doesn’t goal kick.

I'm looking forward to a 10 that can kick long as opposed to across the pitch. Sometimes, you just need to move the team down the pitch to relieve pressure and box kicks are not the way unless playing into a gale.

This has the feel of a real trouncing.
I've no confidence in our back 3, and at least two of our pack. Add in the 10 issue and....

Not under the secret NIQ quotas. Absolutely farcical. If Nucifora still believes it will block talent looking at the state of the UR squad then he must be either thick as champ, delusional or acting under IRFU spite....justinr73 wrote:Pretty unlikely we’d have been allowed to though, right?Dave wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 1:01 pmSpot on CIman, one world cup winner isn't worth two reliable players. Keeping Sutherland and big Jeff would have been the smarter business.CIMANFOREVER wrote:Serious Stormers team locked and loaded. An LBP will be a miracle.
No surprise SK may be off. Why would be stay?/ UR afford him?
I did say I'd rather have spent 2/3 of his feet on keeping 2 international props in Sutherland and JTA. SK has not been worth the £. Was he supposed to be a leader?
Given we didn't get any sort of transferable leadership skills from DVM who is now into a senior coaching role with the Bokke, we truly are a basketcase of poor off and on field decisions.

Agreed but unfortunately he won't get 10% of the allowances made for BB.Big-al wrote:Let’s wait and see before we make judgement.
