Rumour has it he has exceptionally wide testicles ... just saying like.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Time to move on
I think we need to clarify on this moving on question. Hoping Dave can help.
We can move forward, we can move backward , we can move upward or downward or not move at all. Which one(s) means moving on?
Also what if you don't have time to move but you would like to. Should you get assistance to free up some time?

Backwards we are fine with. Its the Ulster way. Moving on implies some sort of forward momentum, that should be avoided.
As for your second question, why don't you get your assistant to move on then you don't have to?

Re: Time to move on
Sometimes I lament your obvious boggishness. Yes as you trudge through the peat bogs of Munster you probably move forward a fair bit, up & down at times depending on the terrain and inevitably backwards to get at the turf mountain you have missed.Shan wrote:I think we need to clarify on this moving on question. However, as a bogman, you will most certainly have also moved sideways whilst wielding the sleán, indeed it is, of course, the primary movement of a bogman. So why young gossoon do you miss out the lateral movement?
As good Ulstermen, used by force of habit to playing the victim, we are currently moving, over and back, thither & yon, covering the same ground and, like you boggers, no end in sight. We may also, with our traditional intransigence, be jogging on the spot, going nowhere fast.
I'm almost certain you've been helped.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: Time to move on
No probs mate. You can try to move up vertically but you have to remember we will bring you down again so I wouldn't recommend it. Moving down is a bit like moving backwards. Backwards is fine. We like backwards. You can sideways as long as you eventually come back to the orignal point with zero progression.Shan wrote:I think we need to clarify on this moving on question. On the whole, I'd recommend not even thinking about moving on. If you have too much time on your hands I'd suggest using that time to build some kind of wall directly infront of your face. Anyone on the verge of moving on will be shot and the hounds will be released. Just a friendly reminder.

Nah. Nat in Ulster. Moving round in circles is, of course, more than acceptable. This is perfectly exemplified by the idea of a 'traditional route'. The TR might give the impression of moving on as at least involves moving but it is trudging the same old route year after year after year after...UlsterNo9 wrote:
It's the Ulster Way... which is itself a massive sort of circular route that, if you walk it long enough, will bring you back to where you started, hence the name. It's nothing to do with location, it's all about culture.
