Jingoistic tosh from the Bellylaugh ....
One of thee most annoying things the Lionels do is get in on any action that makes them look good ... for example Andy Murray is British when he wins but Scottish when he doesn't.
Have a wee dekko at this havers ... https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/spor ... 05451.html
Chris Farrel the famous player Ulster didn't rate or want is now in line to play for Ireland in the 6N and all of a sudden we're claiming him ... feck me sideways Sadie ... give him his proper title ... The Ulsterman we had no interest in - whom we dumped and 'didn't even bother talking to' is ... it turns out ... a half decent big lump who had to go elsewhere to make it as a rugby player ....
Boils my pash that does.

It was him or McCloskey apparently, and at the time McCloskey was tearing up trees where Farrell was struggling with bad injuries and when fit looked a deer in the headlights.

He really wasn't good coming back from injury and I think he himself said that he knew he had to get away. Good on him for making it work.Jackie Brown wrote:If I remember rightly Farrell was beyond pish any chance he got for us. Could be ... but then again Stockdale's first few run outs had me scratching my head, what's all the fuss about.

Much the same, thought he was as agile as a tugboat wouldn't amount to much to my shame.Cornerfleg wrote:Could be ... but then again Stockdale's first few run outs had me scratching my head, what's all the fuss about.
