Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Think Colin is right - when he went to Wales, they took out superfluous vowels and replaced them with the letter 'y'UlsterNo9 wrote:Hope we were talking to Tadhg Beirne also..... sorry Colin, low blowColinM wrote:Hope we were at least talking to Tadgh Byrne afterwards

Am only surprised they left an 'e' on the end.
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

Neil Best?
Said they wouldn't be back in a playing capacity.

Baggy as you remarked at the time Treviso stood as if froze as Trimble scored.
My observation is not so much on his overall performance but the minor nearly unseen tell tale signs
It's not so much as being caught out of position as the failure to try and get back after - things he would have done in years gone by.
It reminded me of the game which highlighted Ian Humphreys
was played out when he stopped chasing when Gilroy didn't i.e. The player recognises he doesn't have the gas anymore .
Forwards can get away with it backs get fed up and frustrated because the gas is so much part of their game.

Watched it again on slomo on a big screen. Don't think it was forward tbh. He took the pass over his right shoulder. Definitely tight enough to give him the benefit.big mervyn wrote:It's on the BBC highlights but you can't tell from the camera angle. Has anyone seen it on the bax?

Tommy isn't as fast but he still found a few gaps last night. That's what's great about Tommy. He's got a brilliant rugby brain on him.

He did a bicep in the bar after.
Came out in an elbow brace.
Won't know full extent until MRI monday.

Just watched the game again and we still won it.
Anyone unmoved by the shot of Rea and McCall heading over for the winner, fists raised in celebration and joy written all over their faces, is clearly not an Ulsterman.
I just hope that win wasn't this season's Clermont game.
