I think we can create good pack players. I however feel there are bigger problems with our school and youth systems that need addressed
Players in Leinster leave school wanting to play rugby
Players in munterville at their clubs want to play for munter
Players at our schools cannot wait to give up and go abroad to study

Re: Ticking Time Bomb?
Having read only hastily through the article and declaring myself a NOC, a discerning reader might well conclude that the aim has always been to churn out good solid rounded chaps who will prosper from their connections even if they may individually be cerebrally challenged.
I can neither applaud nor condemn such an ethos, merely remark on its probable existence.
All fits in with my friend John who I quoted recently about you finding some OC thinks but few of them unemployed.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Ok I'll accept your change of direction, I have little interest TBH, my son has already told me when he has finished his A levels, he wants to go to Otago uni in NZ or Exeter Uni, to study and develop his rugby.
