Just because the people would "like" to know doesn't mean the people have a "right" to know. The BBC got their interview and just because they got the snippet doesn't mean they have the right to more.

I said months ago that if it was that big it would leak. This contract was signed over 2 months ago and hasn't leaked at either end. I firmly believe that there are very few within UR and the IRFU who actually are privy to the name. Perhaps that's a sign of how seriously Ulster are taking this contract. By comparison, I knew Marsh, Ryan and Others within days of their signing.

You've already played that card already, I'm going to remain optimistic.
Buck I will continue to play it as I have had previous dealings with Ulster Rugby...... :D

After being very excited at the announcement of ulster signing two "big names" in the next few weeks I did a bit of research about it and looked at good players for us to sign I only looked in england and france and found these possible transfers (All these players have one or two years left on their contract) :
Francois Louw (Bath), Juan Imhoff (Racing)
Blair Cowan (London Irish), the Pisi brothers (Northampton)
Fritz Lee (Clermont), Blair Connor (Bordeaux)
Johnnie Beattie (Castres)
If we do sign Kankowski I will be fairly disappointed as when you say "big name" no one would immediately mention him.

I hope you had nothing else to do, because that was a waste of time.

Would it have been Niall Foster writing that rubbish on BBC sport?

So Bryn has told what, 1-3 others on condition of silence (praper silence)
Those have spoken to a few others (including a few on here) and have said all they're allowed to say - ie, "Id say he'd be Ulster's best ever signing" or "on a par with Piutau" or "world class back row, can say no more."

I'll sleep easy with that. Anyone offering odds on Coetzee?

Must say I am somewhat disconcerted at the route the BBC seems to be progressing down. From public service broadcasting to tabloid jounalism. Gone from reporting the news to trying to make the news. I hope my licence fee is no longer paying this chube's wages.

It's not Jackie. It's not even that. It is simply an irrelevance today. Even if it had the best journalists available it would serve no purpose, the death notices and lighting the fire excepted.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?
