The42.ie seem to be well up on the IQs around the place - this from January this year. Did Bryn just read this article and then go hunting??

I suspect I'm not the first to make this observation, but it tickles me that Plymouth had Cushion on the bench!

Plymouth Albion supporter here. Don't know much about Peter Browne but he looks really athletic. Was very sorry to see Paul Rowley go in 2014. Was Man of the Match against LW before they were promoted. One of their few defeats that season.
Came across some clips that might help. Could have done with him this season. We are staring down the barrel of relegation from the Championship............

Forget about the fact that he seems to be able to make a break or kick off the left foot ... I counted about 10 passes there that went to the intended receiver that were not above his head or at his bootlaces or even caught by someone else ... that has to be encouraging!

People here are for some reason very dubious of youtube clips ... they seem to think they're forged witchcraft ... now I get that you can cherry pick the best bits, but so far yer man looks more than worth a punt at 9 ...

Thanks for that Hugger, much as many of my acquaintances, plus several posters I really don't like, have been underwhelmed by capturing two players from the bottom of the premiership, we have a need to sign as many Irish qualified players as possible with the restrictions we operate under from the IRFU.

Nice then to see some encouraging footage, 9 has been an area where Ulster fall from "one of the best in the world" to "a midget who is occasionally inspirational but in the main catastrophic" to a slew of "go away you aren't good enough". In those circumstances I'll be giving Paul Rowley every chance before deciding where he fits into our grand scheme before pronouncing him useless like many of our resident idiots. Good to see he isn't a midget, many of our 9 options have been 8 stone, wringing wet and a good breeze blows them over.

Good luck in the relegation struggle, and do become a closet Ulster fan, you know it makes sense. :thumleft:

It's simple Fleg, challenge them to come up with an encouraging display of clips featuring Hairy Dave ................ or Aussie Dave for that matter.

Whilst always bearing in mind RLS's advice, "Travelling hopefully is a better thing than to arrive", I refuse to join the interminable moaning when we have a simple imperative to sign IQ players. If they turn out to be duds, so be it, but I'm giving each an every one a fair crack of the whip before pronouncing them as crap.

Thing is Baldy, for all his faults beagle has talent, you could make a blinding video of him that would have Toulon round Bryn's door "akksing" about how much we'd take for him. Thing is you could compose a video library about "how not to hit a cow's arsepiece from 10 metres", "own try passes for beginners","stupid decisions for the impulsive" and doubtless a raft of other bestsellers.

beagle has his uses, starting games is not amongst them. I like beagle, occasionally. I hear he's bringing out part one of his autobiography, "P: 9 Years a Chube" as he nudges towards his tenth year with Ulster. It is expected to outsell Fat Declan's, "Deccie: 9 Years Ulster Hide & Seek Champion", a tale of one "professional" rugby players journey, avoiding the rigours of matchday.

I like Fat Deccie, I'd like him more if he was of more use than an ashtray on a motorbike.

That passle of half-truths, or an equally wonderful previous edition, has twice seen wee-p sign contracts for English teams, only to renege on them both, once within half an hour if the rumour mill is dead on balls accurate.

Missed that, my bad.

Baggy, I agree with you. Marshall's problem is consistency.

That's a great watch ...

p's acceleration from 0 - 60 over 3 yards is as scary as watching Riverdance ... feet just shouldn't move that quick.

For every stroke of genius p has performed he has a youtube chest of total brain farts, but we've always criticised his consistency not his good stuff. Especially his commitment to attack big guys like a jack Russell lining up a postman!

Seeing Fez again makes me sad ...

And glorious footage of Big Ryan Caldwell moving gazelle like to inspect a ruck brings back fond memories of him doing absolutely nothing until getting a yellow card.
