Fantastic! and feel sorry for Bracey to run so far to receive the adulation of the crowd to realise that there are only 17 of them!

If they could only find a way of generating non test income for the regular season cricket.

I think they’ve given up and just decided to flog the game to private investment.

Stormont soon to become Test venue number 123….

Currently no wickets fallen Zimbabwe 91-0 after 29 overs.

Great recovery by Ireland to win pretty serenely today. At 21/5 they looked well beaten. Lower order batting seems to be better than top order these days!

McBrine had a great match.

2 wins in tests is 2 more than I thought Ireland would get.

Taking 4 out of the 60 wickets to fall doesn’t sound as good.

Bitter pill to swallow for many, especially Lancastrians, but he got a proper send off in that game at Lord’s.

Said to the wife on the way to the ground that McBrine and Tucker were well capable of 50s today.

They played exceptionally well, albeit in good batting conditions.

Ireland were somewhat fortunate with the decision to call play off on Saturday evening.

Gus Atkinson into the 90s.

He’s gone past Jimmy already.
