I'm not so sure about 18000 Ulstermen for the Sarries match.
What about the weemen and childer?

Granstand looks much better in real life with those seats in than in the pictures/tv. Going to be even better when rammed full.
Re: Stadium Redevelopment Photos 2012-2014
Thought the same Hammer! Stand looks great when you're there. Wouldn't mind seeing what the new changing rooms look like though!
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Still think the entrances/exits look about twice as big as they need to be.
Also has anyone an idea what the committee box is going to look like? I'm assuming big windy from private lounge behind, but their seats must be a different spec from the others. Are they just waiting for the sale at DFS?

There's always a sale at DFS, so why would they have to wait?

Gotta say the stand looks much better in the flesh than on photees. Can't wait to hear the, place full up.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

Think those double up as wheelchair viewing points aswell. Although yea they are a bit big, grey and ugly.BR wrote:Still think the entrances/exits look about twice as big as they need to be.

I'm still taken aback by the lack of seats.

Correct and agreed, although hopefully they will be painted white which should improve the look - still a huge waste of space IMHO.HammerTime wrote:Think those double up as wheelchair viewing points aswell. Wheel chair points were at the back, did the regs change so they needed more?HammerTime wrote:Think those double up as wheelchair viewing points aswell. Although yea they are a bit big, grey and ugly.BR wrote:Still think the entrances/exits look about twice as big as they need to be.

Maybe we are trying to be open to a community we unfortunately struggled to cater for in the pastBR wrote:Wheel chair points were at the back, did the regs change so they needed more?HammerTime wrote:Think those double up as wheelchair viewing points aswell. FFS its a wall at a rugby stadium, didn't know our fan base was made up of so many interior designers.
Maybe we want to move the stands around? The feng shui is all wrong. Rotate the pitch by 37 degrees......
If we want to get down to the nitty gritty the actual quality of the precast finish is pretty poor, soffits poorly finished, concrete blemishes....

My problem is that it is a wall, I would have preferred seats.UlsterNo9 wrote:FFS its a wall at a rugby stadium, didn't know our fan base was made up of so many interior designers.
