A new local brewery from Ballygowan called Farmageddon has started production. They are only brewing bottled ales and they currently have 3 in production:


Gold Pale Ale 4.2%
India Pale Ale 5.5%
India Export Porter 5.2%

I didn't think the top 2 were anything special but the India Export Porter is rather interesting. I got mine from the Vineyard on the Ormeau Road and no I have no connection with either organisation except as a satisfied customer.

Is the Vineyard not just the greatest shop in Belfast? Outstanding. They really need to get somewhere with a bit more space though, speaking to the boss man one day he said he'd bite the hand off the insurance firm (I think it is) next door, if they were to move on.

This is why insurance companies will not touch NI. Not terrorism, that just gets removed from cover. But brokers who fight each other for business meaning the insurance company does not get the information they need.

But all of this will fall on deaf ears. As the big bad insurer is out to get the little man

I agree with what you say Russ, phone the companies directly and have a firm list of the cover you need and you will beat any brokers price for the same cover and will have less hassle if you need to claim, go through the broker and all becomes a game of Chinese whispers and you either finish up under or over covered, typical sort of thing is house insurance and you cover house for value but don't take into account the costs involved if the darn thing burns down, you could easily be 20% under
