Primary schools , doctors surgeries and some dentists feeling the effects of localised immigration, usually associated with factories, food production and vegetable picking....tasks which most of UR supporters are unfamiliar with...and jobs that locals dont want or won't take.

So dont mock. There are a few genuine grievances about

For clarity on my last post I certainly agree the Tory party was an abomination of the worst kind and rightly got a boot up the hole.

I have no time or sympathy for the thugs and mobs that descended in towns and cities across the water, they got what they deserved in court.

My point about concerns may need explanation - aside from the mob element there were protestors intent on just protesting without the violence. I do believe that their concerns that they consider real are to a large extent based on mis or dis information. Thats where leadership and explanation comes in, sadly lacking from Keir Stalin and indeed is immediate predecessors from the blue party

The problem with Immigrants (non professional ) is they tend to concentrate in urban areas and occupy property in the HMOs which diminishes the number lower rental properties and cheaper housing stock . This puts the cost of housing up .
Thus what is basically a territorial dispute becomes racial or religious which is why we have the existence of peace ? walls -- pavement painting -- flags etc in Belfast defining territory . The affluent escape to suburbia leaving their poorer cultural neighbours floundering in neighbourhoods where they become the unwelcome minority.

UDA godfather Jackie McDonald is said to be ragin' about the trouble. According to the BelTel he has "read the riot act" (you have to laugh!) to those involved, not because of any sense of compassion for the ethnic minorities, but because it might affect future funding for leylist groups!

People who have no intention of ever doing an honest days work in their lives destroying the businesses and homes of people trying to make a better life.
