CCB will improve quickly they are offering more scholarships and there are kids moving to them From across the country from Medallion level up. All Funded by their enhanced boarding offering.
The MCB ‘newish’ head has shifted school focus to grades rather than sport, could be a new era for them.
RBAI takes all sorts and has the attraction of recent ‘serial’ school cup winners with low entry grades which attracts kids from all over.

Only the old guard and detractors use the master race moniker.

To be fair, i was a detractor for many years, but my youngest son is at the school and it has been great for him. The rugby programme is excellent, underpinned by committed and knowledgable teachers.

He's thriving! I hate to say it but RBAI has been brilliant for him!!

Happy to be both. All things being equal, the casting vote to MCB or RBAI- Saw many examples down the years in camera. Also affirmed by more than one internal source that it is a thing. CCB less so.
And yes, Master Race is still a much used epithet. Ask my non Inst nephews. Get over it.

Contrary to opinion, Ulster have always been known to have a big, bulky, ignorant set of forwards over the past several decades.

More so than Munster…

IMO, No better sight in world rugby than an Ulster pack on the front foot, at any level.

I'm sure you loved the 80s to 90s for that Al. Great Ulster packs. Smith was a huge hooker, even by today's terms. ( Until he met Tom Lawton lol)
