The delay depends on where the try is scored and how -- after a run in under the posts = delay =a sort of that was easy reaction. and the time is lost is similar to that of a conversion taken when wide .

Must say I like the sevens game and also when I played it a school -- size doesn't count to the same extent but stamina counts for more ie the ability to be active for 20 minutes instead of 2 . the game is the exploitation of space rather than the ability to barge over a would be tackler. while size helps its not the b all and fat props are exposed for the one trick ponies there are .

I think everybody enjoyed it at school. End of season tournaments etc but I find it hard to take seriously as a spectator.

Merv as a spectator it depends on the players and type of game both games can be one-sided and both can be boring .

The somethings thing a sevens game has over 15 a side is the fact it only lasts 20 minutes . stoppages for injuries are fewer and the same goes for line outs and scrums like wise penalties are more obvious and fewer in number .

Thus the game is frequently less frustrating for the spectator as the influence of a referee is substantially less ( fewer 50 calls )
