You are surprisingly easily led.
Look behind pseudonyms and alleged “ objectivity “
I know this is for you in particular is a big ask, …….but at least try
"surprisingly"?

You are still surprised by some things this eejit does or says? :duh:

You clearly know nought about him!

Well I like Slugger O’Toole. A lot of odd and irritating folk on it but it’s always interesting to read and ponder other folks opinions even if you don’t agree with them. If there is another website covering similar Norn Iron stuff then please let me know. It’s largely politics but even had a thread on Ulster rugby recently.

Came across Naomi and the Alliance candidates doing some promotional thing in Botanic Park this morning. Mr BM collared her and actually got a fairly straight answer to her pressing question.

She's a lot smaller in real life.

Is she not so 'Long' then? Typical politician, never truthful.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

The bookies have Easton and Alliance both at Evens.

Alliance is the most popular bet.

Bizarrely, the DUP are second even though they're not standing! 😆

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the postman brings more

... except he doesn't. 5 weeks in to the campaign and all I've got so far is a wee A5 flyer from Alliance and one from the DUP.

I'm not complaining but it's a bit strange. I know it's a 2 horse race in E Belfast but you'd think the other candidates would at least pretend to be interested.

There was a knock on my door a couple of weeks ago, which I ignored, and then an Alliance leaflet was stuffed through the letterbox.

It was quite a light knock so it probably wasn’t Naomi herself.

I’m presuming Big Gav will win as you lot don’t seem to like fence sitters, in common with the rest of the UK these days I suppose.

Alliance knocked but the DUP didn't. We're blow ins, S Belfast last time, so maybe the new boundaries have confused the other parties.

I'd say it will be close enough given the anti DUP vote.

Aka the "Naomi Long diet"?
