Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Backrow would be a bit of a surprise - I would have thought its an area of strength. Hopefully McNabney pushes on next season, possibly mCCloughlin and if Crothers comes through/Marcus Rea regains form and/or Reffel stays fit we would be doing well there.kingofthehill wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2024 5:43 pmLoosehead and backrow.justinr73 wrote:Yer man on the Red Hand podcast reckons we’re looking at a couple of props.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Eric O’Sullivan, James McCormick, Marty Moore, Matthew Rea, Reuben Crothers, Dave Shanahan, Ben Carson are all (by my unofficial records) out of contract now and weren't in the leavers list and no confirmed contract renewal yet.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
so no more new players then?!
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Probably a ball carrier, Vermeulen was replaced by Ewers, now Ewers gone..... bar Timoney we're a little light on carrying in the back row. Izzy can but he's unproven season in season out.....Silverstu wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 1:32 pmBackrow would be a bit of a surprise - I would have thought its an area of strength. “ Ulster might not kick off their United Rugby Championship campaign for another three weeks, but new head coach Richie Murphy is already on the lookout to strengthen his squad.
Ulster, who start their campaign on September 21st with a home game against Glasgow Warriors, sent out a circular last week saying that they are in the market for another tight head prop.
The club that added Werner Kok, Aiden Morgan, and Ireland’s sevens international Zac Ward to their squad over the summer hope to have the new signing in place as quickly as possible”

RugbyPass did get the Conan one very wrong. So buyer beware.
