Yep, but the begrudgers will still say, "well it was only against 13 players".

Italy playing with 13 players

Uncontested scrums

Do they kick the ball after 6 tackles too?

Good on the lad but hard to celebrate Lowry's try. While it was against 13, he still had to do the business, so good on him.

Farrell looked a wee bit embarrased.

That's Italy's call - they can bring on someone who they deem able to hook, and it would be a straight replacement and 14 players.

It's by going uncontested the laws say they have to remove another player just to stop any team feigning injury if their scrum is getting hammered.
Any 3 available fat boys should have to go in the front row.

agree 100% but that was Italy's call to say they coudn't.

They should have been aware of that from the moment of the red card and considered the implications long before the next scrum. I had!

There’s something about Lowry that makes him easily likeable, apart from the amazing rugby talent.

Lowry needs to be careful - the last Ulsterman to score a hat-trick for Ireland hasn't played for them since.

There's a nice wee story on Bakebook about how he pulled his car over to help a boy in a wheelchair up the Stranmillis road.

His mammy must have brought him up well
