Ulster v Connacht Sun Dec 26th 5:15pm KO BBC2NI

Post by Neill_M »

Stuart McCloskey (hamstring) and Iain Henderson (ankle) both sustained injuries in Friday's Heineken Champions Cup home victory over Northampton Saints.

Both players will now begin a period of rehabilitation under the care of the Ulster Rugby Medical Performance team. It is anticipated that both players will remain unavailable for selection for a number of weeks.

Squad updates in association with The Ulster Independent Clinic

So, 5000 fans in Limerick and feck all, more or less, in Wales and Scotland.

Static cases over here yet I fear my excuse to escape the in-laws on Boxing Day is hanging by a thread…..

No match in Limerick now - Mexicans still COVID ridden! Sad though it would be to alter now, but I can’t see how 15,000 at Kingspan on St Stephen’s day could be justified!
Hope is not a strategy.

Could see the folks on the hill follow Scotland's lead and restrict Ulster to 500 / % of ground for a few weeks when they meet tomorrow.

I think they’ll permit more than 500.

More like 3000 or 4000?

Anyone know how they might choose the 3,000 or whatever who could go to the match?

Rumour going around that they're proposing a Squid Game styled competition.

In that case, anyone want two tickets...

Hypothetically, if it was 3,000, refund on all general sale tickets. Then lottery with season ticket holders with those that don't get a ticket, offered credit for that game to be applied to their account for 22/23 ST or knockout games etc.

That it is similar to what Munster were doing before the Leinster game was scrubbed.

Anybody aware of anyone catching the virus at Ravenhill?

Maybe they could just close the bars.

It’d be hard to tell the difference from Friday.

The time it took to serve they are not missing out too much on the revenue.

I dont believe the Exec paper today is looking at changes for big events before the New Year, and then a further analysis of Omniballix figures on 30th Dec.
