Re: Rainbow Cup
Four points down - thus is dreadful. How many knock-ons by Ulster?

Re: Rainbow Cup
Without Coetzee or Stuart we really struggle to get front foot ball. Timoney has done alright too, but getting behind the gainline regularly.

Lowry is like brad pitt off a shovel.
Pleased for Wee Dave.

Refs just make it up when they feel like it.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Rainbow Cup
Congrats to Connacht on winning the Rainbow super league World Cup superbowl.

Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful.
Don't care about the result, even if we'd won, this was simply shocking.

Re: Rainbow Cup
We have been off the boil all night and deserve nothing from the game. Too many thinking of next week, and Leicester have been given the blueprint, absolute physicality.

Re: Rainbow Cup
Better team won.
Re: Rainbow Cup
Connacht wanted it more. Guts and belief when it mattered. Never expected to see the captains challenge work well either.
Re: Rainbow Cup
How did they not call the forward pass in that captains challenge, beggars belief.

Re: Rainbow Cup
I think the substitutions showed that the result didn't mean as much to Ulster as Connacht. That said, it was a game that should still have been won.
I do think the ref and TMO made a couple of howlers. Personally I thought Connacht were hard done by when their 2nd "try" was disallowed. I know he rolled over then reached and the ref saw that as two movements. Me? I'm not so sure. Try looked good for me.
At the end though, I thought the call to say the last pass was good, it looked forward to me. I think there was an Ulster fingertip in there that deflected it backwards, but the initial pass looked forward. I may have been wrong, but the ref and TMO glossed over that too quickly. Had that gone another way, we would have had 5 points rather than two.
However, I really don't care about the points, or this shambles of a competition. I don't like losing at ravers either - it doesn't matter who the opposition is or what the competition is. The main thing though is that we appeared to come through unscathed, albeit Ethan McIlroy looked to be struggling at times, but the main players all got some game time and hopefully we'll be better drilled and prepared for next week.
That's the contested training session out of the way now - bring on the tiggers.

I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right
