I've been a regular attendee at Ravenhill since the early 60s. Had some wonderful times and some woeful ones as well. This however has left me feeling totally numb. The anger, I suspect, will come once the realization of what has happened has set in. At this point I shall not be going next week and will have a long think about what to do next season. MUM -it was a pleasure getting toknow you over the years at ravers. We said our "ua revoirs" last night as i don't expect to seeyou upthere again.Even if you're there, I doubt very much I will be.

Hopefully we'll keep in touch and maybe catch up some time at another venue.

Junior ain't scheduled to be playing in your direction during the cricket season, but who knows what cup draws might throw up?

Can’t wrap my head around the decision. The complete lack of spine from the IRFU and Ulster rugby is a disgrace. I’m sure the current squad feel fantastic about playing for Ulster rugby going forward. Henderson must be feeling ecstatic

The no longer have control of the game the game is controlled now by the harpies of Twitter, one of whom has started Change appeal to have the trial reopen ,
and the sponsors who can now dictate who or can’t play for a province and Ireland .

If you can’t control the game the sooner you resign the better .

I played rugby at school and club level and I am I life member of a rugby club but rest assured Mr Logan I will not enter the gates of Ravenhill until your signature is on a letter of resignation .

I would like to register my disgust at the lily-livered treatment of two innocent men by the IRFU and by the Ulster Branch itself - so much for "Stand up for the Ulstermen". Certainly the private text messages were distasteful but nothing that wouldn't be said between young men or women in a spirit of machismo or bravado. The private messages sent from the innocent men were actually mild and it appears they are being held to account for other people's correspondence. There appears to be double standards at play as it is common knowledge that two current and recent international players were involved in similarly distasteful activities without similar punishment. I have been a long time supporter of Ulster rugby but I will no longer support a franchise of the IRFU that cannot challenge mob rule against two men who have been proven innocent in a court of law. Finally, having taken this stand, I assume that Ulster Rugby and the IRFU will be applying the same standards to all employees. I will watch with interest. Yours, no longer a supporter.

Dear Ulster Rugby,

As a 15 year season ticket holder I feel sick to my stomach at the treatment disgusting treatment by the IRFU and Ulster Rugby of our 2 young players.

Due to a completely false accusation, proven to be so, unanimously in a court of law, they have been hounded from the province and country they love. Literally they have had their livelihood snatched away and exiled from their homeland . The only other organisation I can think of who treats people this badly is probably paramilitary.

Few disagree that the messages the boys sent were distasteful and a huge mistake. The punishment however is massively disproportionate. Effectively a lifetime ban playing for any Irish Province or the international team. There are so many examples of worse behaviour punished so much more leniently. Not to name names but examples would include proven drug taken , abuse of referees, eye gouging . Seriously? Are private text messages so much worse than these acts ?

The thing that disappoints me the most about the lack of support for your employees is the fact that you have been so heavily influenced by a social media witch hunt and by one particular sponsor ( who has zero right to lecture anyone on moral issues) and so uninfluenced by 1000s of loyal supporters.

I am very interested to hear why I should renew my season tickets for next year

Gents lets not get stupid about this, I've already told you this decision was taken and communicated to the players on Wednesday, absolutely nothing to do with the ladies and a few ballbegs lined up on the grass last night. You need to look fair and square at BANK OF IRELAND, it was they who pulled the trigger, I do not know definitely, but I assume their big stick was to withdraw sponsorship not just from Ulster but to all 4 provinces. That is a substantial stick, more a cudgel with nails driven through it, and you can just imagine the reaction from Mustard & Linseed reps - fu@k Ulster, get them out.

BANK OF IRELAND, they may not have been the only edgy sponsor, what they are is a bunch of hypocrites, financial pirates, utterscum with no ethics who brought this about. Further, I understand their sponsorship manager is a NI woman whose feet sometimes get tucked under the Best family table, I'd imagine the next family gathering could be tricky.

I urge any of you with the slightest connection with BANK OF IRELAND to sever it and let them know why.

Further, I urge any of you with a spine to tell the FIRFU that they can stick the Aviva Stadium up their Dublin holes and vow never to give your support to the shower ofbastards. You should, of course, have followed my lead when Nucibastard treated Pienaar like disposable garbage, if you do not do so now you are a simply a spineless piece of shyte.

I know of 10 people who are going to their BOI branch on Monday to close their accounts with others to follow. Lets hope they get the message and all their branches up North close down due to lack of support. They will not be missed as there are much better alternatives. I am now wearing my Ulster jersey with a hole where the bank has been cut out and when people ask about the hole in the shirt I will tell them why.

Many people will be aware of 'Clare's Law' relating to domestic violence. Individuals can ask the police about their prospective partner.

Well should there not be some way a guy in their twenties could find out about this complainant. She is certainly one to be avoided.

How many more lives could she destroy?

Could I also point out that the IRFU gave Paddy a new contract after the allegations were made. Now the allegations were proven false so what changed?

I’m glad the forum was dead yesterday, as it gave us all the time and headspace we needed to write a strongly worded email to both UR and FIRFU.
I wish I had a BOI account which I could close.

We suspected all along the lads would be feck, but we dared to hope otherwise. I can honestly say I still felt numb when I heard the news. Totally gutted.
If you haven’t already emailed UR and FIRFU, please do it now.
Have the URSC made a statement? I’m not a member, but I’ve heard nothing from them. If they follow the party line I won’t be surprised.

Anyway, I ve been supporting Ulster since 1978. This is now at an end. Season ticket will be cut up after Weegies game and posted back to UR with an explanation why including my disgust at the decision, UR's spinelessness in the face of anti democratic social media terrorists who anything to 2ith true social justice, and corrupt sponsors.
I will be at the Weegies game to my goodbyes and also because Im f#cked if im going to give UR a freebie.
I will also insist that Logan and the UR board go en masse citing examples such a SO/ PJ and RP and our treatment by D4 pogues.

This is a culmination of why i've posted less and less. The heart has been ripped out of our once proud province of Ulster and now from me. My interest has diminished proportionately.
This was the province of Blair Mayne Jack Kyle WJMcB, Thompson and other world rugby greats who bowed to no one. Now No internationals at the ground, no anthem as agreed (Italy boycott 2007) , continued D4 bias, anti Ulster decision after decision , put it up the Proddies / Nordies. So much for an all Ireland inclusive sport. GAA by stealth.
My support has incrementally has been stripped from me. UR no longer represents what Ulster should mean to me, or what it should represent within the supposed model of a truly inclusive all ireland game they keep banging on about. 4 proud provinces like F#UCK! NORDIE LIE DOWN...
