Maybe Kiss did pick the wrong team after all
Great confidence boost before the Leinster game next Saturday I don't think.

hard to believe it's their first SDC, victor Vito is so good though. Imagine him, Marcell and Deysel in an Ulster back rowDave wrote:LaRochelle play a great brand of rugby. I hope they go far in the SDC.

Ferris talking about Ulster players missing from the team - Deysel, Coetzee, Payne, Gilroy, and someone called J******n - one third of a team, and when we get them back we'll be better equipped ...
So ....... next season ...... maybe!

So after that can we now expect further changes in front row, second row, back row, half backs, centres & back 3 next week? No clue what starting team will look like week to week.
They were bigger & more importantly better.

and bigger, did you mention bigger? thon Vito has nice hands though, liked him. Tbf to Coetzee if he was fit we would be purring over him right now. Sad we never got to him play his best.Hamsterdam wrote:So after that can we now expect further changes in front row, second row, back row, half backs, centres & back 3 next week? In summary we all saw it coming. There were some ok individual performances but the team (and in paticular that team) are just not good enough.
Gonna stay off bakebook where realism is called negative and unsupportive.
La Rochelle are complete amateurs at match day experience too. The crowd managed to generate a cracking atmosphere and they couldn't even a round up a friggin brass band.

Move mccloskey to 6 and out of the backline.
With him in the backline, all we do it 12 up from set piece. Yes we will get over the gain line but the lack of creativity has just gone.
Bring back Doak.

Sounds like the dose of realism we have all been expecting. Against anyone decent away from home we are going to get well beaten. Indeed, we'll struggle to beat anyone away from home. Fortunately there enough crap teams in the Pro12 to keep the season alive at home.
