Ulster are very one dimensional below full strength. It's awful rugby to watch.
One agrees my liege. I think much of the Pro12 has been very poor viewing. Connacht are worth watching because they try to play open rugby as much as possible and they both score and concede more tries than any other team. Apart from them there has only been a small number of games which would excite.

Ulster were tom kite but still got the 4 tries. If they don't improve for the remaining games, no Top 4 and SDC is not locked in. Good to see McKinley play in Ireland again, looked decent.

I would go so far as to say McKinley was the best fly half on the pitch tonight

Pish

EDIT: I should point out, this was my description of the match, not a comment on Brother Rooster's post above, which I had not read at the time of posting.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

probably the most uninvolved I've been in an Ulster game for a long time. Lethargic is the best way to put it. fading across the pitch, little to no imagination and the first-up tacklers are non existent. rest of the season could be some difficult watching looking at the fixtures.

My MOTM was the guy who was shown on screen in close up shaking his head in exasperation after we had just knocked on again.

There was a wee blonde haired ball boy on west terrace side, could spin pass off both hands and back foor didnt do a strictly come dancing flowery solo.... That impressed more than most of the havers I think saw on rhe pitch ronight, how rhe hell dies St P sleep and night after that ... Our backs trying to look like superman cos our forwards have brewers droop. We cant create overlaps or numerical advantage.

Sure as long as rhe band plays Amerillo and we aell ahiets no obe gives a shyte.

Bet you wouldn't worry about the performance over the result in a final. :D

Anyway I didn't see the game as I was watching Connacht play rugby......

It's nat awful rugby, it's shyte, pure unadulterated shyte. There was a vague hint of rugby being played for part of the first half, the second half was dung dung & more dung.

And see if that wee twerp had dropped the ball as he bloody early did, I'd have been out of thon stand and guzzled him til he ran home for his ma. Chube.

As for the murdered Mayor of Limerick's halfwit great grandson, there was only one thing "clear and obvious" on Fat NIck's hattrick try & that is "yer a wee feckwit".

Tell you what, we may be getting a hell of a player but fading or not, if Nick isn't there to go forward .......we're bate.

And so dear children, to bed, to sleep, perchance to dream of men in white displaying crisp passing before racing over try lines.

Good night everyone, sleep well.
