Bob Kearney taking the ball and purposefully taking it into contact with whatever player is closest. In those closing phases with him out in the wing, he turns inside just to make contact, the worst attacking fullback in international rugby?

Steady on fleg, go out and buy new boxers or something else useful, even counting the blades of grass in the garden is preferable to Aunt and DeckCornerfleg wrote:Ant and Dec are up next, maybe they'll be a bit more interesting

We did well enough there. Not much to complain about. We were beaten by a better team.
Main positives were the new boys who did well. Dillane looks like a future class act in an area of weakness for us so that is really the biggest positive.
As I said earlier Brown looks like a football hooligan. Now he is acting like one. He is a thug. He should be banned from the game. Accidental my ballix.

Injuries, Bests throwing, injuries, no Payne to run the defence and injuries that is what lost this game. Obviously taking Stu off I expect Joe to point a finger as he did with Cave or Marshall a few years back. Joe I reckon could make the AB's look bad.
In Manchester to hopefully watch an Ulsterman do the job tonight. Stand up for the Jackal.

How easy a job is it for ITV pundits? 30 seconds of analysis is all that there's time for.

Dropped passes, over run passes, passes behind the player, not getting back behind the player on the ball, no line speed....
I saw enough today to add weight to just how poor the NH is under pressure. SH sides can complete about 70% of their pass objective. NH is at best 40% id say come the tours and AI the north will ship about 3 tries to every one of theirs, at best.

Was McCloskey injured? Or was it a tactical substitution? He had a couple of impressive runs in the second half.
Henshaw looked a tad short of pace today.
Overall, Ireland just don't have the power or physicality up front. Donnacha Ryan looks done. Toner weak. VDF a little out of it though he did improve a bit towards the end of the game.
Hard to see where we go from here. There are not that many decent players pushing for places.
