Refuse to give Ticketbastard 30% of the ticket price as a return.
Bit o' sunshine, a few jars and some daycent rugby may lighten the mood however.
Managed to shift my tickets to a good friend who has helped me out with tickets in the past (in Cardiff) and who's son is now living in and supporting Weegies, so I have no qualms about helping him support his team. 100% recouped by me without TM making another penny at anyone's expense.
Bit of sunshine hopefully for me too, but watching cricket instead .....
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I knew someone would bite, I'm surprised you were one of them tbh, I'm watching Ireland as I type this so hopefully that answers your question.BaggyTrousers wrote:So, not a rugby fan then WW?Wee Woman wrote:On Tapatalk so can't vote, is there a 'don't care' option?
I don't want to go my ground to watch 2 teams in a final that we're not in that's about the height of it.
I've been offered loads of tickets, including VIP ones and I still can't bring myself to go. No amount of free beer and VIP treatment is going to take away from the fact that Ulster aren't there.
I haven't got the appetite to get into a big debate about it so I would ask folk not to castigate me for it.
I'm simply not bothered, there are plenty like me who suddenly 'aren't able to go' and if they were to be totally honest, they would probably say the same as me.

Not sour grapes at all - this is nothing at all to do with the finalists, it's just massive disappointment that we have blown yet another golden opportunity.TheElephantMan wrote:sour grapes i see heheWee Woman wrote:On Tapatalk so can't vote, is there a 'don't care' option?

You may not have noticed WW but anyone who says they are not going or don't care who wins is being questioned similarly.
I'm looking forward to supporting Munster as I have both in Limerick & HC finals before, oh yeah and getting ripped into Matadoodah.
Then again, I like rugby.

I'm looking forward to it.
I like competitive rugby.
I'm not arsed about end of season Baa Baas stuff and the like.

I don't see why folk would be questioned for choosing not to go, I think it's blatantly obvious why some are choosing not to go.BaggyTrousers wrote:Wee Woman wrote:I knew someone would bite, I'm surprised you were one of them tbh, I'm watching Ireland as I type this so hopefully that answers your question.BaggyTrousers wrote:So, not a rugby fan then WW?Wee Woman wrote:On Tapatalk so can't vote, is there a 'don't care' option?

I hope you and everyone else on here who's going enjoys the game, genuinely.
I suppose if POC lifts the trophy it would be hard to begrudge him that.

Nah had a gut full. (That seemed to be an acceptable answer previously, so I'll stick with that).BaggyTrousers wrote:Not a rugby fan then?Cap'n Grumpy wrote:Voted likewiseCIMANFOREVER wrote:Voted neither.

Alternatively, I could say that had I not been asked about tickets by a rugby fan supporting one of the teams in the final, or had I wished not to repay a past favour, I would have still gone to the match on Saturday, but since he did ask and since I could repay that favour, I will now go and support another team that I have a personal interest in, but on the cricket ground instead. Indeed in all likelihood, I might even end up participating in said event.

Don't think a draw is possible, but extra time and penalties would certainly provide a bit of extra valuesssssss wrote:I will probably not be on your forum till after the final not that I cannot take you banter just work dictates

If you don't like Baa Baa rugby don't complain about Doak ball .
A competitive game takes the opportunity for risk out of a game .
For entertainment a Baa Baa game is hard to beat what it lacks is a sense of being involved since the game is style with out substance .
For players trying to break into International rugby Baa Baa rugby can be a nightmare - because the desire to keep the game flowing gives rise to both giving and receiving hospital passes . Thus it fails to provide a fair basis for assessment of a player .

Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist
Re: Final Support Poll
Nonsense, the player goes out and plays to the style of play and game plan his coach (in this case Schmidt) tells him to and is assessed based on how he executes coaches instructions. If he is told to player a higher risk game plan then any coach with a brain will know to adjust his assessment on this basis.rumncoke wrote:If you don't like Baa Baa rugby don't complain about Doak ball .

I'm with Merv, competitive rugby floats my boat, exhibition stuff is almost always unfulfilling.
