Very pleased with that!
Better than Munster and Ospreys away!
What players we have coming back?

You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Well, that was a really terrific selection by Ulster. Glasgow's confidence is sky-high - we got a bad injury anyway.
But if we click next week, who knows? But why are some folk saying away to Glasgow is the best draw? Unbeaten at home in the League - won 5 out of the last 6 games against us - finished top of the table.

Good traveling support, obviously would rather be at home but Glasgow will lose to either the Tospreys or Munster at Ravers and I do believe they are the weakest of the semifinalists, maybe not skill wise but mentally.

I actually think it is no bad thing for ulster to be playing against the same team again next week. Glasgow wil be confident, but ulster will have a stronger team and should be better informed. It'll be a huge boost seeing some of the big names back on the starting teamsheet.Gary wrote:Well, that was a really terrific selection by Ulster. Apart from that i think some people on here don't really rate glasgow, despite what they have achieved. Maybe it's the lack of big names. They have a better home record this season than we do or indeed any other team does. Against that, away from home we have beaten no team in the top 6 of the league nor anyone in europe this season. Our hope is a day where everything clicks and we get the rub of the green, plus we avoid almost any injuries, as our resources are looking weaker by the day.
A semi final is a one off, and i'd say we have about a 30 percent chance.

To be honest Gary if we don't sort our discipline out we might as well play Glasgow under 16 girls away and we would be in trouble.Gary wrote:Well, that was a really terrific selection by Ulster. Glasgow's confidence is sky-high - we got a bad injury anyway.

Dan and Hendo in the 2nd row next week with Robbie D at 6?
Nevin Spence 26 April 1990 – 15 September 2012 gone but never forgotten
Re: Glasgow vs Ulster - Live updates
If Franco cant play that seems the most sensible choice.

Is Herbst really gone for the season?

SM didn't look too clever when he hobbled off. It was like some part of his body had been put in the wrong way around.
