When we consider how many of our backs may be rested and off pine surfing for Joe ... Agen I say that someone say of ... just for talk sake ... Ludik's class and versatility would be a shrewd and intelligent move!

Some info on Mr Ludik via rugbyrama site. Only arrived at wk 11 and has featured in 16/17 match day 23s since then. Out of the first 10, was on the bench 6 times and started at 15 4 times. In last 7 weeks, has started at 13 6 times and one week was not in the 23. Has scored 1 try to date.

Or Sean Dougall if we're going down that road? Faloon signed a new Connacht contract a few months back and is contracted there, I think, until the end of the 2015/2016 season. Would be strange for the guy to break a new contract so shortly after signing it. Dougall is only under contract at Munster up to the end of next season, if I remember correctly. Might be easier to break and Dougall has a good four years on Faloon, so maybe has more potential as a long-term prospect.

Not that I am one of those in the know or anything but given that neither of those two players is technically available, what's the betting that another IQ 7 will appear from somewhere else, Irish grandparent in tow?

If you can get anyone to take a decent bet go for it.

There are several IQ flanker options in the ITM Cup, I think.

NOC could do a job at 7.

Given that we only have three loose head props and we looked after him for two years when he wasn't fit, I can't understand why we are letting Paddy McAllister go to France.

The management must think he isn't good enough at this stage. We have 3 loose heads for next season plus Warwick. I have more concerns about tight head. Not only is it a more difficult position, but with only Lutton and Herbst on the books for next season we are a tad short handed. What's the story with McCall is he shifting to hooker?

We've signed yer man Dave Ryan as well, he'll presumably be 3rd choice.

We can't afford to resign Paddy Mac has there are question marks over his career because of his injury and the hamstring regeneration issue, according to Rooster who can explain it better than I. He is basically off to France to prove his fitness or else find another career. Ulster seem keen to have him back if he can stay fit and apparently he has a release clause.

Dave Ryan was reported to be a tight head when we signed him.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
