Are we talking about the original change (from the back-filled stand in the original pp submission) or do we suspect a more recent change?
I'm sure there have been tweaks, but i'm sure there are good reasons for them.
But have there been any twerks, Snipe, that is the question?
Not at my age.  HWM would probably be up for it.

Or anything close, us terrace dwellers have commented regularly on how few were on the Prom given a sell-out crowd. I assume H&S dictated reduced Prom dwellers until access has been fully resolved.

My question was not intended to question overall capacity, I assume the plans to be correct in the capacity the ground. I am simply saying that to me the new stand appears small ....................and whisper it, lest the Ulster are Brill brigade take offence, not overly impressive to the eye, certainly dwarfed by the CAT stand in tiggertown.

Any news on when we start filling in the corners >EW
Dear Baggy. As a Prom dweller I can state that the Neon Nazi's have been shoving people into the prom until it has become almost impossible to move and and frankly bloody uncomfortable especially when you add the Cigarette Smoking man and Pipe Monster into the mix. Don't know how it looks from the other side of the pitch, but from someone compressed into the middle I can say that it is much more congested than it was before.. Whats worse is that it is now very very difficult to reach the bar without missing 10 minutes from the game, and seriously the only "bar" on the prom side for the mean time sells only bottles at £4!! Seriously considering a move to the dark side for next season :vader:
Aquinas end of Pro. Usually quite sparce, from at least the 10m line.

For several games it has been practically empty from the Aquinas 22.

As for only missing 10 minutes at the bar, you'd be lucky to get back to the terrace in 20. My advice has reverted to 'forget the beer at the ground - save your thirst for a decent pint'. It remains to be seen how that ties in with the catch-phrase's plans for world domination.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

If we're going back to our old seats in the new stand for the 1/4 final against Sarries, does that mean we will keep those seats for the last two matches against Connact and Leinster?

I wondered about that too.

Also, are those seats the ones we will be getting for ever after in the new stand?

There wont be any seats left for the loyal supporters for the Grand Opening after the blazers and friends, the folk on the hill and their friends plus whoever else UR feel important enough get their seats in the stand.

It might to good to start a list of who we think will be there on the day :stir:

I sincerely hope so because I am right back where I was last year which was the plan from the start when we agreed to sign on for two years.

To answer the other question: there's a fecking great big committee box for the great and the good at the opening. It's to take place on a match day so I would like to think I'll be in my usual seat.

As others have pointed out, you may be squeezed in the middle, but the ends have been sparse, particularly the Aquinas end. Presumably when new escape routes are open upon completion of all building work, they will allow more into the "Prom" and the ends will also be squeezed.

Next season there should be 4 new bars open in the new stand, at least two of which (IIRC) should be accessible to the west terracists, so hopefully that will reduce pressure on all the current bars, but as BR states, that won't change the quality of what is served or the service of the servers.

yeah, but as was pointed out by cardoc, it's not just the great and the good that will be coming - it will include Fools from the Hill.
