Big negative was getting feckin drenched on the terrace. Whoever had the bright idea of moving the terrace forward, beyond the roof is an arseh0le and should be strung up and hung out to dry as it were on the front of the terrace where we can douse him with our perpetual pints, the ones that you can never finish as they top up with the pishing rain. How can that be progress? We were getting soaked for years until some kindhearted soul took pity and built us a shelter to huddle under. Last nght was a throw back to the sh1t character building nights of old. I'm too long in the tooth now to have my character built and I was a right grunpy oul git when I got home last night, drippin from me uxters

Just shows too, having seen that the concrete was soaked about 2/3s of the way up the new old stand, gonna be some uncomfortable nights for the new dwellers once it's finished

Oh & now that I remember, there was of course one absolute clown assuring us during the week that McKinney would be grand, well Against, what have you got to say for yourself now you arsefoon?

Did we win - yes? Did we play 9 men rugby for the most part with Ruan at 9? Yes. With the conditions, there was no other option. There was no point having a distributor at 10 as it wasn't a game to throw the ball around. Flip, if beagle had played 9, Ruan would never have seen the bar of soap. It was all about winning the battle up front and box-kicking our way home. Sure, he wasn't great but did he cost us any points? Nope. Their try came from a poor 22 from St ruan and a poor line-out drive. He got turned over a couple of times and a few aimless kicks but in reality he hardly saw the ball. It was an up-the-jumper night and as i said, terrific option to have your playmaker at 9. Sugar did a job and we won. Think I called a 6 point win so 3 points away ain't too bad. I do believe I was right on all counts. Trust me - the cowboy knows his stuff. Stick with us and we'll keep you right. Thanks for highlighting Baggy

I'm not siding with ATH who seems to think Sugar is the next Dan Carter, but I think some are being a bit too harsh on McKinney here. He wasn't great by any means, but I don't think he was as bad as some are making him out to be.

Same with Ricky Andrew. He's a Rabo level full back and he played to that level. In my opinion, he did fine.

Re Mckinneys technique if any of the kids I coach always catch in the chest then lower the ball below the bellybutton then refuse to raise their outside elbow on the pass. I'd chew them and make them watch the Kiwis ti see how it should be done on that skill set alone Mckinney is not Pro 12 standard then you consider he's meant to be an out half. A lightweight out half who targets their Openside to take it into contact against. I mean seriously WTF?
