Who was your ULSTER MOTM v Treviso?
Good win, professional finishing, poor opposition, but who would you vote for MOTM?

Herring. Was everywhere around the park, particularly at the breakdown. I'm intrigued by how he will perform over the next few weeks whilst Rory is recovering. A cracking opportunity for him.
Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

Stand up Mr.Cave, ulster had an armchair ride last night and It was an occasion made for players with a point to prove to put their hands up and get noticed. From that perspective Messrs Herring and Doyle didnt dissapoint. No one was under more pressure this week however than DC who took every opportunity that came his way to make a point. Well played sir!

Red was brilliant all round the park, great to see him really stepping up in Best's absence. Worthy MotM.
Usual suspects were doing well behind him - Tuohy, Diack and Cave - and honourable mentions for Afoa and Doyle who both put in good performances.

You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Cave and Payne were sheer class personified.
Re: Who was your ULSTER MOTM v Treviso?
Lots of candidates - Herring, Afoa, Court, Cave, Payne, Marshall but I gave it to Doyle on his first cameo. True loosehead flanker and a bloody nuisance to the opposition.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Four scoring passes from DC. If he'd had four touchdowns there would be no debate

Not often I agree with the official MotM, but in this case I do.
Rob Herring with a mention in dispatches for Darren.

Re: Who was your ULSTER MOTM v Treviso?
opponents seem to be afraid to tackle jared and his skill set is just breath taking.
darren was even classier than usual and if that performance did not impress joe, then i don't know!
rob red seems to be improving his all round game and his offensive tackling in the tight really stood out for me. he seemed to be able to drive back 2 or 3 men with a very well aimed tackle and then kept his legs pumping and he very nearly got my vote.
but for impressing me above and beyond what i had thought him capable of, sean doyle for me.
his tackling continually felled the big italian runners behind the gainline and he reminded me a lot of his compatriot michael hooper. if sean can get to that level i'll be moderately happy
honourable mentions for big dan t and robbie d, both continuing excellent seasons.

Herring made three tackles within 10 seconds without taking more than a step between any of them. Stopped each of them in their tracks, got up and felled another.

Doyle for me, by about 0.0001% ahead of Herring and Caveman. Excellent opportunity which he took. Hopefully puts the Wilson to 7 debate to grass in MA's head. Enjoyed his try- meant something to him, which should be important to us too. A good piece of business hopefully allowed to blossom.
Red is some prospect. Annett needs to bulk up a bit more imo, but if/ when Rory goes, these two should be our front line hookers.. they offer so much about the park. Herring's been taking some lessons from Ror's I reckon, and his tackling and jackling were top drawer against admittedly disappointing and mediocre opposition.
Think AP/ Italian league is the way forward to help development of both...
As long as we don't ship a loss next week....

I liked the look of Doyle form the games he played in the pre-season. Last night he proved that he can do an able job.
I hope he continues in that vein, I'd like to see more of him in Chad's absence.
