i think that was the 5th home game ive got to this season, on top of Leinster away, and it was far and away the most enjoyable to be at. was nervy before the game, but after 10 minutes the result never seemed in doubt. great atmosphere. looking forward to watching it back again. hope the injured scarlet's lads are okay.

Think we clearly owned the Scarlets in that match, almost could have beaten them by as much as we wanted to. Re Rolland yes he missed the trip, even Gusher saw it, but for me the Scarlets fullback should have got red carded for three clear consecutive punches, you shouldn't get away with that in front of the ref, and how we didn't get the penalty there I've no idea. Other than that can't see many real debateable decisions.

1.Most English clubs do not want them in the league as they would contribute little financially and at the start anyway would be in the lower leagues and so would hinder the progression of the lower teams to promotion.
2 No Welsh team would ever qualify for the HEC and indeed there would be no back door way in for them as far as I am aware.ie it would probably eventually lead to the end of professional rugby in Wales.
Hope the leave the League then!
Contractually they cannot leave the league without giving several years notice, and any attempt to walk away without that would bankrupt them - it ain't gonna happen

Wee Woman wrote:Deary me, some really bitter types over on Scarlet Fever. The 'superior' views of some of them are quite astonishing and they need to lift their heads out of the sand.

They can mouth all they want over there but the fact is they were never winning that game last night and they were lucky to scrape into the Top 4 in the end due to some totally abject performances. Mr. Easterby has a lot of work to do with them if he's still in the job come the off season.

Didn't think much of their Lions either!
Yes indeed Wee Woman, yet some here thought I was wrong to wind them up to the hilt in December under the guise of DavetheRedHandedHammerofWales. Sadly due to their moderators having had a charisma bypass, I have not been able to return or I would taunt them most severely.

I know a thing or two I'll have you know, its the only "enemy" fans forum I have ever visited and taken liberties. As the ould crusader in thon Indiana Jones film would say "Baggy, you have chose..................wisely"
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
