Less than 1000 Cat 4 tickets left from Ulster's allocation. Informed by the girl in the office that they are not expecting any more to be released.

That's disappointing Merv if thats the case. I cant go but i'm sure that with the demand there should be an attempt made to open the middle tier. Any word on how Saracens tickets are selling?

Anyone tried to buy a few from them.

General sale from Sarries starts Monday I think so can't see them having sold out their lot

Hopefully there'll be more than a few exiles in their number. With 8k travelling we should be able to make ourselves heard at any rate.

Very appropriate actually.

I believe it means "Non Shall Sleep" - probably a few Sarries fans will be having nightmares after that result

Edit: Maybe not. Somebody toul me Exeter had won. :duh:

According to Shane Logan, only 4000 of our allocation has been taken up, price of flights from our "offical travel partners" might have something to do with it.....

Why only 4000 since or share should be around 8000 ? The flights are simply supply and demand and they were already expensive for that weekend before the match was even known to be in London as I had checked, Sunday was always a bit more expensive as I think it is end of Easter holidays.

The official website stated: Ulster Rugby will take its full allocation of tickets for the match, which equates to 25% of the stadium capacity.

The lower tier capacity is just a shade under 34k which equates to an initial allocation of 8500 for Ulster. Given that the Cat 1,2,3 tickets were all sold within 5 days I'm not sure where the figure of 4000 comes from?

Me neither Mervyn and the tickets are 25% of each category available and there are actually not that many Cat 4 sections in the lower tier so that figure has to be far too low or else the travel company is holding about 3 k tickets at present

sorry, for clarification, UR took their full allocation but as of Friday had only managed to sell 4000 of the allotment.

Still doesn't compute. As mentioned above, the full allocation at this stage is about 8,500. I spoke to the ticket office on Wednesday last and was told that they had less than 1000 Cat 4 tickets left.

What happened to the other 3500?
