Joy or Curse?
To be hugely represented for Ireland in a non capped international or to lose a many 1st teamers for a vital double header in Italy?
Poll maybe?

Re: Joy or Curse?
start a poll then laddie!!
Personally, I'd rather see 5 extra points for Ulster but if the players are chuffed to be playing for ireland which I am sure they are then happy days. Even if Ireland were playin the all blacks I'd prefer to see them play for ulster so I am the wrong person to ask lol

Climb up onto the top of your house and start screaming: 'stand up for the Ulstermen, stand.......'

With the non-cap scenario it can only be a lose-lose situation. Tomorrow should be a huge occasion for those lads. Instead it's just a glorified Wolfhounds game.

Hate the AIs with a passion. Reckon they're the most pointless thing to arrive in Ireland since Clinton Shifcofske.
Rather we had them all back, injury-free at Ravenhill.

You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Edit your original post. At the bottom of the text box below and to the left of submit is a red tab called poll option. If you click on that.........

Never worry Mongee, nobody really gives a flying feck, they are just being polite.
Ignorance is a curse - ballix is a mild curse whereas Warren Gatland is an uptown top ranking curse. Feck a sweary standard.

I got an immense amount of joy watching young and older established Ulster players perform so well for Ireland. It validates everything we're doing in Ulster while exposing the players to a higher standard of rugby which should make them better players.
The other added bonus is now the likes of Andrew, Allen, Cochrane, Heaney, McIlroy, Olding, Nelson and Simpson get some 1st xv game time. Especially the likes of Simpson who wouldn't be next or near the 1st xv if we had our whole squad available. We're pushing more and more players through at Ulster which just gives us more opportunities to unearth the next gem who could go on to a long Ulster career and maybe even Ireland as well.
So only joy from me watching our guys perform for Ireland why promoting and giving more youngster opportunities to shine for Ulster.
I love it
