Well we sent wee Tara to Ravenhill this morning and she joined the queue and acquired 8 terrace tickets for Northampton v Ulster but she was unable to get Leinster tickets so she will have to call back later if she wants any tea tonight.

On further investigation it appears my season ticket is not properly linked to my account even though it was bought through it. I know there were issues with this last year but I wasn't a season ticket holder then and was never told to link the two. Anyone any ideas on what to do?

It's a two minute job to get it linked. I found this out when looking for the Glasgow game and the ones in the office were able to fix it for me, got the impression that it had been a very recurring issue this year. I'd call them for tickets now and then get them to link it while you're on with them.

I had bother on tinterweb as well so phoned at 09.05 (for the first time) >flog and got through to have my name taken and my request. They got back to me at lunch time by which time I had tortured them on the phone (in case I didn't get tickets with flights etc booked) and eventually got terrace tickets for Northampton...... >yahoo
I know what pressure they are under but it's about time there was a system in place to cover all forms of ticketing. It's not cricket to say one can phone and book tickets or use tinterweb when actually one needs to queue at the door for one to be certain. >rtfm

You need a direct line to Norrie's cactus, then you get ticket over the phone no problems  :red:

You got a direct line to the cactus cos it is still damned slow tonight going through the proper channel.

That's defo not the Wig & Pen Rocket. Was that the Thomas A Beckett?

We didn't get to the Thomas A Beckett 2 yrs ago but we intend on visiting this time as it's on the way to Franklins Gardens. Can't beat the Wig & Pen though, it was a cracker wee spot.

I also mind seeing the same(?) banner outside the pub across the road from Welford Road last year :salut:

brother-in law lives in Northampton.....asked his advice on pubs.......

"Wig and Pen has good
beer and garden.
A couple of pubs on way to ground from city centre, train station eg. Thomas
A Beckett
Plenty of bars at ground Franklins Gardens, Heroes Bar, Rodber Suite, can
also eat in there etc also maybe a marquee or beer outside in a 'small
village'

I would say go to ground and drink there." >drink1

Yip - that's the Thoams A Beckett pictured. The Wig and Pen is up the other end off the town (other side of All Saints), but basically on the same road.
