Have we any members in NZ?

Post by Gael »

I'm moving to Christchurch next week and don't know a soul out there, was wondering if there was any of us here that could lend me some general advice about it.
There was never a guard nor a customs man, got his nose inside that transit van.

Isle-of-Whiter presumably.

Is Flat Top still in Bath? He may be able to help.

I moved to Berlin in similar circumstances last year, with only GCSE German in my back pocket. The best advice I was told was get involved in things you enjoy as quickly as possible; if you don't, you'll delay and delay and never really experience the place you're living in properly. It's true; I delayed doing some things and still haven't got around to starting them...

you will not be on your own when they start to rebuild Christchurch there will be 100's of trades men/women leaving these shores to get work, and right they would be it is a lovely part of the world and the people are great.

safe trip and good luck.

Gael, I reckon you are going to have a good time in NZ by the caliber of answers you are getting on here
There are some hits on the try videos from down there so someone must have an interest.
