Despite one defeat, one hammering and a kicking Ireland somehow
have managed to climb one spot to seventh in the latest IRB rankings.
This while Argentina drop two places (to below Ireland) despite their
recent victory (& only one defeat) to France. Can someone explain this? http://www.irb.com/rankings/full.html

Argentina lost to France at home and at the time were not far removed from France. We were eighth playing first away. This should explain most of it.

Setanta, where can one find the IRB metrics giving the gearing for the points
awarded for Home, away, win, ls, dr, etc. If there is a link will you post.
