I'd prefer Ravers, but you're right, they won't go back on their Bot deal.
City centre won't happen, can't imagine Belfast City Council wanting a load of us outside the City Hall on a Saturday evening singing our lungs out. Dunno why I think that though.
Bit disappointing really compared to the Munster efforts. They line the streets to watch it on a big screen. We show it in...a pub.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.
I would have thought that Sky Sports love those shots of people watching on big screens, so I don't think the lack of a sky sports subscription is a show-stopper. Yes it may pss off some of the bars, but I'm sure they'll still do very well out of it. We need the NITB/BVCC lot on this - they've spent an absolute fortune promoting the place for 2012 and along comes a godsend like this (having Ulster rugby on the world stage) - they should be grabbing the opportunity. How many people watched the MTV awards? How many people will watch the HEC final?
I remember street sceens from Musnter and even on Sunday in Clermont ... could you imagine the embarressment of cutting to Belfast where wee Shughey is out with his dog and 4 people are dandering into the BOT.
Mon now somebody - some promotion guru or business man must see the potential here. A small reasonable ticket price is not going to offend anyone either.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
