I'd prefer Ravers, but you're right, they won't go back on their Bot deal.

City centre won't happen, can't imagine Belfast City Council wanting a load of us outside the City Hall on a Saturday evening singing our lungs out. Dunno why I think that though.

Bit disappointing really compared to the Munster efforts. They line the streets to watch it on a big screen. We show it in...a pub.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Was their not a fairly big game shown at Ravers recently? I might just be imagining it but if their is Ravers would be a more popular option IMO.

Praise God I'll be at Twickers.

Any reason why you would object to prayers before and after the match?
Then 2 lines later you are praising God.

One of Nolan's white shirts should be big enough for the screen right enough.

Prod prayers, Cafflick prayers, Jewish prayers, Muslim prayers, Jedi prayers. We'd be there all night.

It won't catch on.

Individuals are free to say their own prayers of course. Thank God we live in a free society.

How about the Maze site? They were trying to get us there for years and there are plenty of high walls to project the game on to. :terror:

Would be a very poor effort in comparison to Munster if we dont have it on a big screen somewhere.

Nolan is the man to sort it. Used to captain the Inst 2nds as a Hooker in his time there.

As has been mentioned before, the Titanic and Olympic slipways get my vote. Get Big This is Our Time 2012 logos everywhere, what a sight.

Who should we speak to to make this happen?
UR?
URSC?
Belfast City Council?
MPs?

Apparently the City Hall screen is owned/operated by BBCNI, so we can fairly safely put that notion to bed.

I would have thought that Sky Sports love those shots of people watching on big screens, so I don't think the lack of a sky sports subscription is a show-stopper. Yes it may pss off some of the bars, but I'm sure they'll still do very well out of it. We need the NITB/BVCC lot on this - they've spent an absolute fortune promoting the place for 2012 and along comes a godsend like this (having Ulster rugby on the world stage) - they should be grabbing the opportunity. How many people watched the MTV awards? How many people will watch the HEC final?

I remember street sceens from Musnter and even on Sunday in Clermont ... could you imagine the embarressment of cutting to Belfast where wee Shughey is out with his dog and 4 people are dandering into the BOT.

Mon now somebody - some promotion guru or business man must see the potential here. A small reasonable ticket price is not going to offend anyone either.
