Booked cheap flights in May for Queen Nooka and myself with Easyjet to London Southend-on-Sea. There are still some available at a good price. Never heard of the place, 30 miles east of London and about 60 from Twickers, but will hire a car for a few days and stay with daughter in south London. Shows and shopping for Nooka if we don't make the final, Lord's cricket ground for me but hoping for better things than that.

Best known for this! http://www.justice.gov.uk/contacts/pris ... er/feltham

It is mainly residential and light industry (companies associated with Heathrow plus some corporate buildings). You'll get the basics there but I wouldn't recommend it for a buzzing nightlife, shopping, culture and that sort of stuff.
Thanks Mike...and thanks to Macktheknife as well!

Full of ladyboys fans no doubt as there are several flights from Dublin booked up completely for a couple of months now.

Tickets bought and flights booked, not that I'm being presumptious, just being prepared like a Boy Scout.

Anyone looking at flights and Heathrow maybe too expensive would do well to look at Luton or Gatwick .. the airport bus runs
to Heathrow from both and fairly easy to get to Twickenham from there .. BUT .. chickens .. counting ... maybe not !!!!!

5 flying into Southampton on the Sat morning, quick pick up, then two car loads drive up to Twickers.
If by some abberation the Scots beat us, then it's a weekend on the Isle of Wight, cheering on Leinster in the Pilot Boat Inn, Bembridge.

Not!
See you at Twickers.......... :salut:

Bristol is a good option, train to Reading and change there for HQ.

Factor in the train fares and it may be better paying a wee bit more for one of the London airports Mac ?

Looked at BMI last night though and they weren't cheap (on the return leg) !!

Could be a lot of neutral Ulstermen at Twickers should Enbra beat us at the Aviva ... shhhhhhh !!

£23 return with First Great Western from Bristol to Feltham. Im only using the return leg now but I bought a ticket for a friend of mine the other day and the fares were still the same, that was on Network Rail.
