Whose going to HQ ?
Looking forward to the final, it will great to relax and watch a game of rugby when ones team is not inolved. Flying out from Cork the afternoon before and back on the Sunday from Bristol.
We were supposed to fly to Bristol , buy open train tickets and have a pint in a Wetherspoons in every town/stop on the way to Reading but unforutnatley Aer Lingus changed the flight time so we wouldnt get into London till all hours.
On the flip side they changed the flights out for free to Heathrow giving us a couple of hours more drinking time in London.
We're staying in Feltham which is close to Twickenham and will be hitting Richmond on the friday night so will hopefully see of you guys around.
Stand up for the Ulster men.

Re: Whose going to HQ ?
me and the wife are going to the final, it was easy when i mentioned a weekend in london i just have to sit through a west end show on the friday night, so hopefully either Ulster or Leinster make it to the final, i don't fancy cheering on the scots if they beat us and certainly not the french NEVER.
Re: Whose going to HQ ?
Does anyone know for sure that our season tickets guarantee tickets for the final?
Why? Why not?

I have booked flights and hotel for the final. Prices are already starting to go up. Fly with aer lingus from belfast to LHR on the first flight on sat morning and staying at jurys heathrow, this is as handy to twickers as anywhere. Just the one night but hopefully will be supporting ulster in the final.

A Franco/Scots final would be a disaster but the ERC won't care with nearly 80% of the tickets sold. Ticket sales seem very slow this year compared to previous.ardsrugbyards wrote:me and the wife are going to the final, it was easy when i mentioned a weekend in london i just have to sit through a west end show on the friday night, so hopefully either Ulster or Leinster make it to the final, i don't fancy cheering on the scots if they beat us and certainly not the french NEVER.
I remember the 10 final sold out in days and for once was able to offload spares in Paris.

Just get the bus to Feltham Railway Station from Heathrow and your 5 minutes from HQ and Richmond. Feck all point paying massive money to stay in Central London.jockeyhunter wrote:I have booked flights and hotel for the final. Prices are already starting to go up. lesson for the day Mack, it's always good to learn.
Nutts Corner was the old war time one just at the roundabout where Lidl warehouse plus market and a few chicken houses now reside. Aldergrove or RAF Aldergrove is the bit across the runway that you can see from the terminal but also uses the main runway of what is now Belfast International airport.

8 intrepid travellers will be Standing Up. Me and Mrs GC and Flat-top bought our tickets months ago on a hunch (that's becoming stronger daily!) and the remainder purchased more recently on the same hunch. Believe!

I wish they could let us know the craic.

Re: Whose going to HQ ?
Two tickets bought over a month ago, hoped Johann and the boys would be joining me but wasn't overly confident, now barring an Edinburgh diaster, it will happen

Re: Whose going to HQ ?
I know when we were in the finals in 08 and 06 Munster got 7,500 tickets initially. As Twickers is a larger stadium the allocation to competing teams will probably be slightly higher about 8,700 I reckon.damianmcr wrote:Lads im going to sort stuff out for this the coming week in hope but will it be easy to get 2 tickets thru Ulster as a ST holder?

So the next question is how many season ticket holders do you have ?
