So, The Southern Media like us, Sky have made our game the event of the weekdn, now we have to start complaining about the choice of the Europa...

Careful now!

By the time a pint of stout gets all the way up to the penthouse it is suffering from altitude sickness.
What about The Errigal as I think they have shown all the Ulster matches and are not just jumping on the bandwagon for this match

I shall probably do the Taphouse for similar reasons.

Appreciate that UR have tried to do something and if it was up the road I'd probably be up for it, but I really don't like the Europa. (And it's a fecking long way to go fer a smoke... Including that 'victory' cigar!)

Well it's still only £2.70 a pint for guinness @ CIYMS ( and the burgers and hotdogs are good & great value) and there should be a decent crowd around as from what i can see Grosvenor (which is also based at CIYMS) appear to have 2 home games namely 1sts v Letterkenny and 2nds v Harlequins 3rds as well as a pre match meal and CI appear to be playing Cooke. I've never seen 3 games on at the same time and didnt realise we had 3 pitches. Do we? Anyway there are large TV's in the bar and in the 2 adjoining function rooms. And why not inspect our new impressive "Bubble" over three of the tennis courts at the same time. As an added bonus If you come along any time after 2pm (and before 3pm) you can even admire my tennis skills as well as the Bubble. Cheers/slainte.

Only two pitches left at Belmont since they sold off the 3rd pitch to developers to build those houses beside the tennis court/Hockey Pitch. That paid for the redevelopment of the clubhouse and a few other improvements around the place. Whenever there are three or more "Home" games they usually use Shorts/Campbell/Cherryvale as overflow.

What worries me is that the discussion thread is about the Europa or some other pub which sells cheaper drink, instead of it being which way are ye gettin' to Montferrand? I suppose that would be in another section.... How many of us are going to turn up?

UR organised watching this game in the Europa  Why not Ravenhill bar its big enough FFS.
One had been told, although I'm not sure of the veracity, that complaints were registered by a 'concerned resident' of the locality after the Saints game was shown there. People drinking (and eating baps) when there was no rugby being played and so forth.

I cant believe there is any truth to that. Its the afternoon, the venue has a licence and there cant be much in the way of noise.

I am tempted to go to the Europa for the craic. I would much prefer to use Ravenhill though, surely it makes Ulster money to do it too.
Want to bet someone would not complain

I used to work at Ulster Rugby. We got complaints for the most ridiculous of things...

The URSC have been very quiet in all matters. Last seaon there was a thread for every home match with what player was attending and the likes. All died down a little.

For real fans  the game will of course being shown live and exclusive in the Errigle Inn who have shown every televised game this season as well as welcoming fans wearing their Ulster shirts all year round.

Cheaper drink, better food and I think they are putting on a quick snack range as well if you want to grab a quick bite during the game.
