What's a contract worth these days?

Here seen holding Xavier Rush's, Mike Phillips and Dai Young's contract - Neville explains just how binding contracts are in Wales these days.

BUT

What's the knock on to the rest of the ML, never mind get out clauses - just leaving seems to be the new black. How can we make sure our players don't start going all poofball and club hoping every weekend.

And finally - does this mean that Tommy could come back if he wanted????

Its a reference to the fashion world. For example, paisley is the new black, floral print is the new black, beige linen is the new black.

Rugby contracts in Wales are worth about as much as a dead sheep.

Ladies and Gentlemen from the Weld Stables in Cregagh Estate we give you - the new look for the 2011 season .... White Knight seen here sporting the new line in Versace off the peg Bin Liners and matching rope belt, complete with a Gucci brown paper bag and a Premier Cru 1987 Chateaux Buckfast, you'll notice that he is sporting two left kitten heel trainers that almost look as if they are a pair the right one being a size 8 and the left one a size 10 sourced from a tip not for from the House of Dolce & Gabbana. Indeed the London look definitely comes to Belfast as he walks down the UAFC catwalk giving us a nice view of his designer varicose veins and that risqué “I love Brendan” Tat on his left arm that not even he can remember getting done.

... I'm sorry folks neither I nor Mr Knight our resident supermodel and fashion guru can fully explain that strange smell emanating from the nether regions of the bin liner ... he assures me it was there when he found it.

Contracts are often broken in sport and compensation paid. May be new in rugby, but not in professional sport generally. Blues paid a decent wedge when Rush was convinced he should stay in Wales. Win win for us.

When you have a bunch of poeple in close contact for periods of time clashes of personality occur if the clash is extreme maybe it is better for all that a contract is broken, quitely .its hard enough to love some some of time impossible to love everyone all of the time.

Fleg, great to see you back on form with a splendid repost to dear old Welder. On the other hand pal, your threads crap  You are rolling 3 very different examples into a one size fits all bin laden, sorry beg.

Dai Young has done 9 years and after a poorish season last year fecked off as the writing was on the wall. Phillips was not wanted by the Tosspreys on the other hand and they have lightened their wage bill. As for Xavier, I reckon he was just worried about the quality of Ulster sheep.

Hasta luego mi amigo.
