Think positive!
Everyone will make it to the game, the game will be on and then we will win again in Bath!

Okay - that's Plan 'A'thelowerthebetter wrote:Think positive!

Plan 'B': Offer the blanket to Bath, but keep it and hope The Rec freezes. Bath, thinking we're letting them have the blanket, do little or nothing about it until too late, 5 points thank-you very much ERC!Rooster wrote:Snow plus sub zero temperature for Bristol area from Thursday on, might need to ship thon big thermal blanket straight from Ravenhill to Bath then ship it back so we can play Ladyboys on 27th
The icing on the cake for plan 'B' being the same outcome in Biarritz
I'm not arguing -

If only Plan "B" were possible then it would be a great one

http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/sport/Smash ... ticle.htmlBath Rugby have been put through a brutal week in training as they seek to get their season back on track.
The club has lost its last four matches, and has only won one game in either the Premiership or Europe since September 25.
Players have been "smashing each other" in training as they prepare for their win-or-die encounter with Ulster at The Rec on Saturday (1.30pm).
The province got the better of Bath in Belfast last week and another loss will spell the end of the English club's European campaign.
Bath have undergone a series of "honest" training sessions this week, with full-back Jack Cuthbert, who scored Bath's opening try in the 22-18 defeat, providing a definition of the term.
"I don't think you can get any more honest than bone-on-bone physicality, and going hard and meaning all of it," he said.
"We've been smashing each other and making the hits really physical and setting the precedent for the weekend.
"We're going in 100 per cent and we're treating every day as though it's an important stepping stone to what will hopefully be a really good result at the weekend.
"The ethos is that if an error has been made someone will step up and say they need to do better. That's how we try and run things at the club. Honest comments are made."
It was a brutal 80 minutes for Bath at Ravenhill on Saturday. The visitors were required to make more than 170 tackles as unforced errors and a high penalty count gifted possession to the Ulstermen.
If it weren't for Italian new boys Aironi pulling off the surprise result of the year by defeating last year's finalists Biarritz, Bath would already be down and out in Pool 4.
But with the northern Italians having tripped the French giants, Bath have a smidgen of hope, although they must win their remaining three pool games.
"These opportunities do sometimes come your way and we can only respond in one way and that's by smashing Ulster as hard as we can," explained Cuthbert.
"Thankfully the Biarritz result swung our way, and we've just got to hit the ground running."
Bath will be boosted by the return of England centre Shontayne Hape, who missed the away clash at Ulster after his wife went into labour with their third child.
"Shontayne's clocked on and he had an outstanding training session on Tuesday," said Bath skills and defence coach Brad Davis. "He looked full of beans so the baby must be sleeping well."
Davis is justly proud of Bath's defensive record, but doesn't need reminding that his side remains error- prone in attack.
"The guys are putting themselves on the line and if they can tidy up the unforced errors and get an equal share of possession, we can cause problems," he said.
"The only way to put these things right is by hard work, and the effort and intensity I see on the training field has been top drawer.
"We're going to turn this corner, there's no doubt. If we keep applying ourselves on the training field and being honest we'll be okay.
"We treat this game like a cup final. If we want to get beyond the group stages we have to win this match."

I know I do not need to say this but it really is the biggest game of the season for us! I have a real strong belief that we can win this and get into the knock-out stages!

I certainly hope so... just had work Christmas lunch, was chatting to a girl who it turns out went to a public school in Bath (boarder, plummy voice, born in Kenya, expelled for smoking dope, basically walking stereotype ) who when I said I was going to Bath to watch Ulster said rather dismissively 'they won't have much of a chance there?' In fairness she probably wasn't expecting the 5 minute tirade about Ulster's competitive 3 and 0 in the last couple of yearsthelowerthebetter wrote:I know I do not need to say this but it really is the biggest game of the season for us!
