Watched tonights match on bbc. Disapppointed that BBC could not show an up to date league table after the match.

more disappointed that Gusher was a good second ahead of the pictures. It was like watching a pathe news cine reel.

Yeah - it was like watching something on sky with the same channel on analogue on in the next room and the volume turned up - per Gusher players had securely caught the ball while it was still miles up in the air - is the matching of sound and vision not a fairly basic fundamental of live OB?

He was on about TOM Marshall on one or two occasions.

Agree about the timing thing, was absolutely pathetic like watching sky with radio Ulster turned up(was his commentary going out on the wireless?). Call me old fashioned but I'd like to see Smith catch the ball before someone tells me it was a good take :(

He said that Munster are now the only undefeated team in the Magners...apparently a draw is a loss in Mr Neilly's eyes.
Looks like I wasnt the only one shouting at the TV when he said it a couple of times!

I might be able to ask someone techy in a broadcaster about the video and audio being out of sync... but to clarify, was this happening on *all* broadcasting platforms for the game (analog terrestrial, digital terrestrial, Sky and Virgin)?

was out of sync on my home recording (virgin) and where I watched it live (Sky I think) So it seems to be multiple pattforms if not all. It was very off-putting. Gusher seemed almost to be able to predict the future.

Was out of sync on Virgin ... I was toying with the idea of some spot betting!

As there was a problem on all broadcasting platforms it looks like it was the beeb's fault for providing everyone a dodgy feed. For Sky anyway, I think they can try to fix things by inserting a delay on their transmission of audio and video but as this was a fairly low profile broadcast, they may not have noticed or been told, or even if they did, may have pointed the finger at the beeb to fix it anyway.
