A bit late in the day I know with the decision being made by the IRB in Dublin tomorrow, but I guess it's something that can be discussed after the decision as well

If the IRB are serious about developing the game worldwide it has to be The Land of The Rising Sun.

I was surprised SA were being touted as favourites earlier in the week.
The FIFA World Cup (that's football of 'poofball') is being held there in 2010 of course. Yes, they have good stadia and the time slots would suit European TV but it's not exactly the safest place.
