Re: The run in
Munster and Ospreys were both impressively determined and deserved victors. The energy level was superb. If only......

Connacht have bonus point- 28 11. 47 mins gone.
Re: The run in
I'd take Murphy playing experimental teams to the end of the season and ourselves finishing 9th/10th.
A season in the Challenge Cup, a tournament we could win, if we topped our group (realistic given opposition) we'd be on for home last 16, QF, SF which you'd like to think we are. Home games and gate money we could do with.

Re: The run in
Benetton will be on fire for us. Really will be win by any means necessary.
Embra and Westies all back in the mix.
8th place will see us at the OARDS no doubt.

With Embra and Westies with 5 pointers, think we drop out of top 8?

We had enough opportunities to win there too.for dog and ulcer wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 8:03 pm Ospreys about to beat Stormers with bonus point. Currently 14 27.

I’d take a proper head coach and not the IRFU cheap option.UlsterNo9 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 9:03 pm I'd take Murphy playing experimental teams to the end of the season and ourselves finishing 9th/10th.

Re: The run in
Can't see us making top 8 now. Two wins would be the bare minimum but that is unlikely to happen or be enough. As said above, a run in the challenge Cup with a good seeding may be our best option. Benetton game is make or break now, they have been very good lately with a lot of players coming off a good six nations. When did an Italian team ever come to Belfast as favourites?

One of the scorers was so good he got a stand named after him at Burnley.
Bet he wished he was as good as Tom Finney though.
