Surprised how many people put Treadwell in the team. The guy is a big enough unit but he's soft and goes missing far too often. He cannot be trusted to turn up.

Tredwell's selection is probably a combination of (i) the odd game where he is on fire he's actually pretty good and (ii) the sad lack of alternatives. Quality and depth at lock bar Hendy was already pretty poor and Ulster didn't replace Carter (good for the wage bill, but leaves Ulster threadbare in this area).

Is Sheridan potentially a lock, in the same way as Hendy was converted from the backrow ? With a few backrow options potentially coming through it could be worth an investment, but it would mean giving him some decent gametime there.
