Given we were 20-3 up, we could and should have won that, but hard to be too displeased with all the positives out of it. Hume was incredible and him going off injured was the point where the tide seemed to turn. So many big performances, a lot of which were from youngsters who look like they'll be forcing their way into our starting line up.

To be honest as disappointed with the loss would have taken a losing bonus before the bus left.
Still not a Doak fan far too long at the base especially when your drum is second best in/out asap please.

In my opinion the scrum and line out cost the game, yes the howler pass from McIlroy and a missed kick but set piece was a disaster.

Great heart gotta be happy with a spirited Ulster team.

I've taken a LBP before this. The kids in the pack stood up. Sheridan, McCann then Hopes who needs a summer in the gym lol. Hume loss was the game changer. McElroy constantly runs into traffic- Addison and Hume could've been the winning. Sexton and Moxham limited futures at this level. Carson not convincing either

You're forgetting Posthlewaite, Curtis and Luke Marhsall.

LBP was as much as we eserved with the quality of our defence and the overall lack of structure to our attack. We don't have the grunt for the hard yards and don't have the guile for the backs to make a real impact. A fair number of fine individual performances but as a team, left much to be desired.

A shout out again for Shanners. Won't hear a word said against him from now on.

Another defeat after building up a big lead but this shouldn't lead to a collapse like leinster before.
Sheridan, mcann and flannery all big positives, French also may be able to take the 3rd thp place with a bit more development. Small margins in the end, losing Hume really upset the backline defence, Carson looked a bit lost but hard to critcise as he wasn't expecting to play at all.

Disappointing, but much better than expected. Hume, Sheridan, McCann, Flannery were superb ... O'Connor, Andrew, Moxham poor ... McIlroy, Sexton atrocious. Other than pace (that is rarely seen) it's almost embarrassing Sextons lack of basic skills, power and IQ. McIlroy doesn't even have a step anymore (that's all he ever had). Burns first contribution was to miss a tackle. Offered nothing. Flannery to Start next week!! McCann and McIlroy's combined idiocy combined cost us the game. A bit of fight for once with an Ulster team so I suppose that is something.
