Ulster Kukri Deal

Post by AntrimUlsterMan »

I think Ulster signed a 5 year deal with Kukri back in 2018. I assume they will renew it again?? Any news or any possibility of a new kit provider?

Hypothetical question. I still have voucher from Christmas which I was holding onto until the new 23/24 stuff gets released. If Ulster and kukri part company next month will it still be valid? Is it with Ulster or with Kukri? 🤔

Cannot wait for O'Neills to be announced.

The identity crisis.... can one still fly a white norn iron fleg (aka The Ulster Banner) whilst wearing an O'Neills jersey? Discuss

BullshitterBobbie, it’s a very relevant question.
If, as you stupidly claim, the club is falling around us, wouldn’t it be prudent to try to get the best possible sponsorship in place to try to improve our position.
Is this simple concept too much for you to grasp? Imbecile.

Next year's top should be a hoodie. Just to see if the Jersey over hoodie guys still wear another hoodie underneath.

No reason why it couldn't be O'Neills.

They already supply rugby kit - Limavady RFC for one
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

They do. They've had good take up from pro teams in rugby league also. They're locally based and manufacture in Strabane. What's not to like. Support local jobs.

Kukri.... open to correction bring everything in from far east.

They have also supplied some NCU cricket clubs in the recent past. Don't know if any current now though.

They used to sponsor URSC player of the month way back in time. CT might remember the details - or he might not. Ancient history now, but from memory, they were hard to get to live up to their part of the deal. I spent some unfruitful visits up the Falls Road or Andy's Town or some such chasing up on something. But then, maybe I misunderstood the deal?

I wouldn't be averse to them being kit provider to Ulster so long as they were the best deal on the table. Hard to turn down whatever money we can get these days.
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right
