Very much agreed. He is one of our best finishers and should not be jettisoned. Big mistake.

Hope it's no more than a rumour. I agree with StandUp, he's probably the best finisher we have, with the possible exception of Rob Baloucoune, and he deserves more game time for Ulster.

He's our best finisher.

Stockdale done
Bobby broken
Gilroy retired
Sexton over rated
Moxham backs version of Greg Jones

That a 26 year old Ulster born and bred player would rather play for Banbridge and milk the cows than stay at Ulster says a lot about the environment

Maybe he wants to play in a rugby team that plays rugby instead of kick, kick, maul, maul

Our game plan might also be the reason the 16th man is so quiet?

Maybe we are bored into silence?

Very harsh on Moxham as he's actually a centre who covers wing

Following in the footsteps of Michael Allen! This is a job for these guys, and security when you have a young family becomes more important than anything else. I don't blame any one who decides the pro game isnt for them, its a short shelf life, where you put your body through the wringer daily..and for some it simply isn't worth it.

Baloucoune unfortunately has too many recurring injuries to be relied upon. Losing a good player like Lyttle is a disaster.

Recurrent hamstring tears will scar and make him more injury prone or slow him down. Michael Owen was a great example.

They’d be safer signing a 10 or lock.

Agreed, but if Lyttle does leave, we could have issues with the above-mentioned deficiencies.
