You reinforce my point.
It isn't where matches should be being won with 4 blokes having hidden macho arm wrestling and sumo style contests.....And wasting every body else's time whilst they get "ready" for it!! Not what William Webb Ellis had in mind when he picked up the football and ran with it.
Maybe props could take up WWE and leave the rest of us to watch an entertaining and understandable sport.........But not Rugby League!
It is so. The last truly gladiatorial contest in contact sports that are becoming increasingly woke . Even ice hockey no longer throw down the gloves ffs. I miss the biff- watch some of the filth from the 70s and 80s- pure >bud we need enforcers or at least mad french forwards. Wither old style shoeings for being on the "wrong side" :salut: >clapping ;)
Apparently even sledging should have 'no part in the modern game' since 30 December either, well not in England anyway. Games gone soft, I tell ye!
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

Pro rugby is entertainment... and its path is dictated by sponsors and telly hence teh enforced changes. Grassroots rugby is sport, where the values, whateever they may be, still stand. I am getting more and more fed up with the future of rugby being seen only through the prism of the pro game, it is a small % and if it died grassroots would continue...however if grassroots died, pro rugby is fecked...

ULSTER RUGBY IS AN ENTERTAINMENT AND MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE COMPANY NOT A RUGBY CLUB! anmd thats ok, but its best to see it for what it is.

We've enough Southern rejects. It'll impact on the border poll

Feck no.. we dodged that bullet last time, thanks very much.. I’m more than happy for Munster to be the designated team to try to magic him into an international 10. (The tragedy is that if the guy had been playing at 15 for the last 5 years, where he actually is pretty good, he’d probably have had a decent chance at claiming the ireland 15 jersey!)
..one more thing

You could argue that Carbery is another victim of the IRFUs PJ policy.

Anyway, please tell me the rumours regarding Lyttle aren't true

Carberry was a pawn, pressurised into 10 and Munster. Much better 15. IRFU really is degenerate
